- Care: Clean with warm, soapy water. Ultrasonic and steam cleaning are usually safe.
Akoya Pearls
- Renowned for their unmatched luster, akoya pearls feature a luminous mirror-like finish due to their tight, slow-formed, thick nacre that helps the pearl stay lustrous longer. All our akoya pearls are AA quality and above.
- Care: To keep any pearl as beautiful as the day its purchased, wipe with a soft dry cloth after each wear to remove any oil/product that may have transferred from your skin. Occasionally wipe with a wet cloth with warm water, avoiding soap, for a deeper clean when needed. Pearls should be the last thing you add to an outfit and the first thing removed to reduce their contact with products and oils. Store your pearls in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Sunlight will fade the luster of your pearls with prolonged exposure.

Care
Wearing your jewelry frequently will help prevent tarnish as the natural oils from your skin create a protective barrier. Please remove your jewelry before sleeping, showering/swimming (hot tubs, pools, ocean, lakes, etc.), when applying any lotions/sprays/products to the body, or when jewelry may come in contact with any chemicals or cleaners. Store in a cool, dry place in a dedicated box or bag. Storing jewelry separately avoids pieces rubbing against each other which may affect the finish of your jewelry. To clean, use mild soap and warm water with a soft bristle toothbrush. We recommend avoiding polishing cloths for our jewelry as they will ruin the finish of gilded (bright white matte) pieces.
