Created Ruby
- A member of the corundum family, rubies showcase a brilliant red and represent intense love, vitality, and courage. This ruby was created in a laboratory, but is identical in chemical composition to one mined from the ground. So, what's the difference? A natural ruby that is "eye clean" is exceedingly rare and valuable, while created ones are "eye clean" because they are formed in a controlled setting - developing less inclusions and a more uniform color. Created rubies also have a smaller ecological impact and are more affordable with the same gorgeous vibrancy.

Care
Silk strung products should never be submerged in water as wetting the silk can cause it to stretch leaving gaps in the piece. Please remove before showering, swimming, or attending a water park. Wearing your jewelry frequently will help prevent tarnish as the natural oils from your skin create a protective barrier. Please remove your jewelry before sleeping, showering/swimming (hot tubs, pools, ocean, lakes, etc.), when applying any lotions/sprays/products to the body, or when jewelry may come in contact with any chemicals or cleaners. Store in a cool, dry place in a dedicated box or bag. Storing jewelry separately avoids pieces rubbing against each other which may affect the finish of your jewelry. To clean, use mild soap and warm water with a soft bristle toothbrush. We recommend avoiding polishing cloths for our jewelry as they will ruin the finish of gilded (bright white matte) pieces.
