Garnet
- Garnet is the stone of love, protection, and passion. It gained its name from pomegranate, as its coloration most often presents like the juicy seeds of the fruit. It also comes in a range of colors.
- Mohs: 6.5 - 7.5 moderately tough and suitable for everyday wear
- Care: Wash in warm soapy water, avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners.
Green Quartz
- Vibrantly dyed to mirror the rich hues of a natural forest, this quartz is believed to balance the energy within the body.
- Mohs: 7 good hardness suitable for everyday wear
- Care: Wipe stones with a damp cloth to clean. Avoid soaking the stones, ultrasonic and steam cleaners.
Care
Silk strung products should never be submerged in water as wetting the silk can cause it to stretch leaving gaps in the piece. Please remove before showering, swimming, or attending a water park. Wearing your jewelry frequently will help prevent tarnish as the natural oils from your skin create a protective barrier. Please remove your jewelry before sleeping, showering/swimming (hot tubs, pools, ocean, lakes, etc.), when applying any lotions/sprays/products to the body, or when jewelry may come in contact with any chemicals or cleaners. Store in a cool, dry place in a dedicated box or bag. Storing jewelry separately avoids pieces rubbing against each other which may affect the finish of your jewelry. To clean, use mild soap and warm water with a soft bristle toothbrush. We recommend avoiding polishing cloths for our jewelry as they will ruin the finish of gilded (bright white matte) pieces.
